Getting spil on your device
We provide spil in three ways: a native Android APK app, a responsive web app for iOS devices, and a full web version for desktop and tablet browsers. Each option gives you the same account, game library, live-dealer access, and payment support via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, and Indonesian banks.
Android APK installation
The Android app for spil is distributed as an APK file directly from our platform. Download the APK, then follow your device's instructions to install from unknown sources. Android 7.0 and newer versions are supported. Once installed, the app receives automatic updates when we release new features or security patches.
iOS web app
On iOS devices, we provide spil as a progressive web app. Open our website in Safari, tap the share icon, and select "Add to Home Screen." This creates an icon on your home screen that launches spil in a full-screen experience, similar to a native app. iOS 12.0 and newer are supported.
Web browser access
You can also access spil directly via any modern browser—Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge—on desktop, tablet, or phone. Simply visit our website and log in with your username and password. The web version offers the same games, live dealers, and payment methods as the app.
Installation step-by-step
- Download: Obtain the spil APK file from our platform (Android) or visit our website to add the web app to your home screen (iOS).
- Install: On Android, allow installation from unknown sources in your device settings, then tap the APK file to install. On iOS, use Safari's share menu and select "Add to Home Screen."
- Register or log in: Open spil, create a new account with your email and phone number, or log in if you already have one.
- Verify and deposit: Complete KYC verification (upload identity document), then add a payment method (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or bank transfer) and make your first deposit to start playing.
App versus browser experience
The spil app on Android provides a streamlined interface optimized for mobile screens, faster startup times, and push notifications for live events (such as Piala Indonesia or Champions League matches). The app also caches some data locally, so certain features load quickly even on slower connections. However, the browser version on any device gives you the full feature set and is easier to update—simply refresh your page to get the latest version. Both app and browser share your account, balance, and transaction history perfectly, so you can switch between them without logging in again.
Device and OS compatibility
spil supports Android 7.0 (API level 24) and newer on all phone and tablet devices. On iOS, we require version 12.0 or later. For best performance, we recommend a device with at least 2 GB of RAM and a stable internet connection (WiFi or 4G/5G). The app runs on both older and newer phones, though loading times and graphics quality may vary depending on your hardware.
Common installation issues
If you cannot install the Android APK, check that unknown sources are enabled in your security settings. Go to Settings > Security > Unknown Sources and toggle it on. Some devices require you to allow installation per app—in that case, your file manager will prompt you during installation. If your browser blocks the download, check your download folder or notification panel. On iOS, if "Add to Home Screen" is greyed out, ensure you are using Safari and have enough home screen space available.
Quick setup checklist
- Enable unknown sources (Android only) before downloading the APK
- Ensure your device runs Android 7.0+ (Android) or iOS 12.0+ (iOS)
- Have a valid email address and phone number for account registration
- Prepare a copy of your identity document for KYC verification
- Choose your preferred payment method (online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank transfer)
Data, permissions, and account security
The spil app requests permission to access your phone number (for two-factor authentication), camera (for identity verification during KYC), and notification permission (for live-event alerts). We encrypt all data transmitted between your device and our servers using industry-standard protocols. Your account balance, payment methods, and transaction history are stored securely on our servers, not on your device. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your account and updating your password regularly. If you uninstall the app, your account remains active—simply reinstall and log in to resume where you left off.
